iDeal Acoustics new

No window too small, no window too tall

When we clean the windows at the DPG Media Belgium in Vilvoorde, there's a bit more involved than just a chamois and a squeegee. The studio windows consist of two large acoustic glass panels, measuring 6 by 3 meters, with a layer of air in between. Six years after their installation, it was time to clean the inside of the glass. Enter: a crane to remove the 580 to 800 kilograms of windows from the structure.

Early last Saturday morning, that crane was neatly delivered by a larger crane at the Kleurt-Je-Dag square. Safety first: to carry out this job, the floor was supported from the parking garage beneath the building.

All's well that ends well: when they return after the summer, the DJs can once again produce radio with a clear view.

Thanks to J&M Cleaning for washing the windows and to De Kraanman for the precision work.
